From its rough and tumble beginnings in 1867, Cheyenne has grown to almost 59,000 residents of diversity. The city has a multitude of cultural and recreational opportunities. Our parks system is the envy of many communities.   Cheyenne is also inextricably linked with the military at F. E. Warren Air Force Base.

We’re the home of the “Daddy of ‘em all”, Cheyenne Frontier Days, the largest outdoor rodeo in the world with parades, free pancake breakfasts, western art shows, PBR bull riding, and night concerts. Always held during the last two weeks in July.

Welcome to Cheyenne – the “Magic City of the Plains.”
